He also enjoyed hunting, traveling, NASCAR, the New York Yankees and the Syracuse Orange basketball team. Sheldon was born March 15, 1943 in Scott, NY, the son of the late John and Genevieve Sharpe. Grace is survived by one son, Roderick (Barbara) Brooks of CT; sister, Joyce Wells; sister-in-law, Lois Hanvey; daughter-in-law, Amy Brooks;and several nieces and nephews. He played the guitar, and was an artist and wood carver. John, Rachel (David) Smith, and Alicia Rumsey; and his best friends, Nate Scott and Steve Pollock; and many other loving friends.
